Melanie Theriac, RN – Founder, CEO & Managing Partner
Melanie founded Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in 2001 and has served as CEO since our inception. Before starting MSS, Melanie was a floor nurse who took great pride in providing the highest level of patient care.
Melanie’s guiding principles are operating her business in an ethical manner and enhancing our reputation for integrity, which in turn helps us attract and retain both customers and employees. She is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of MSS, and has developed the company into a leader in the healthcare staffing industry.
Joan Reneer, RN, BSN – COO & Managing Partner, VP of Clinical Services
Joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC 2003, Joanie maintains responsibility for cultivating the relationships with our clients and our employees, and assuring customer success and satisfaction.
Joanie believes integrity is the cornerstone expectation that customers, employees and the public demand of us, and she manages our business with the requirement that everyone associated with Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC observe the highest ethical standards. Having obtained her BSN, Joanie brings over 20 years of experience as a nurse and serves as clinical liaison to our employees. She has worked the units and understands what is needed to provide exceptional patient care
Jeremy Wann – Accounting Manager 
A graduate of Indiana University Southeast, Jeremy brings a structured and organized approach and comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices to the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC team. His tremendous attention to detail makes Jeremy one of MSS’s most reliable and dependable employees.
Jeremy serves as the primary contact for questions about payroll; and is committed to providing our customers with excellent service on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and any other accounting issues that may arise.
Renee’ Voorhees – Accounting / Payroll Associate
Renee’ brings a strong work ethic and detail oriented approach to handling the day to day operations of the accounting department. Serving as the accounting assistant, Renee’ is responsible for processing payroll; and is committed to providing our customers with excellent service on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and any other accounting issues that may arise.
Renee’ also maintains responsibility for on-boarding and compliance paperwork of our clinical professionals, serving as the primary contact for questions about company policy, benefits, personnel records, grievances, licensing, or any other HR related issues.
Beth Schnell, LPN – Human Resources & Scheduling Director
Beth served as an LPN for 16 years before joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC as Lead Scheduler. Beth and her scheduling team are the front line for MSS PRN business, and deal extensively with our customers and our employees 24 x 7 x 365, coordinating schedules for our clients and the placement of our employees at healthcare facilities.
As an LPN who has worked the floors for over 15 years, Beth has a unique understanding of what is needed to provide exceptional customer service and candidate relations. Beth and her team are extremely professional and client focused; and they strive to satisfy every customer and employee while achieving the highest level of customer service. Beth’s relentless pursuit towards scheduling every shift makes her one of the best schedulers in the industry.

Jana Mitchell – Senior Healthcare Recruiter
After earning her degree from Indiana State University and working in the sales industry, Jana joined Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in 2005 and has served in various key roles for the company, performing as a “star” in every position she has assumed.
As Senior Recruiter, Jana leverages her vast network of healthcare industry connections to recruit and retain some of the best and brightest travel nurses in the industry. Nurses love working with Jana because of her warm and infectious personality and her ability to listen to the needs of her candidates. Introducing MSS services to potential travelers, Jana can answer all of your questions about program structure, availability of assignments, licensing requirements and the benefits we offer.

Christy Birchler – Healthcare Recruiter 
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Oakland City University, Christy spent the next 4 years as an HR generalist in the retail and insurance industries before joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC as a Staffing Specialist in May 2011.

Kelli Rausch – Healthcare Recruiter
Kelli graduated from Indiana University (Bloomington) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health Administration and Certificate of Business from the Kelley School of Business. She has a strong background in Human Resources and Medical Sales and Marketing within the Healthcare Industry. She joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC team in November of 2012. Kelli’s attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, professionalism and strong work ethic enables her to accurately match candidates with the right position. She is dedicated to achieving and maintaining client and candidate satisfaction. Stacy Mathie – Allied Health Recruiter 
Stacy joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC Staff in November of 2012, where she is responsible for building relationships with both our clients and candidates as an Allied Health Recruiter. She prides herself in matching the right candidate with the right job placement. Stacy brings 7 years of Human Resource experience from different diverse industries, with the last 5 years concentrating on full cycle recruiting and staffing both permanent and temporary positions.
Tate Bailey – Healthcare Recruiter
Tate joined the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC staff in April of 2013, where he is responsible for building long lasting relationships with all Healthcare Professionals. It is very important to Tate to continue to foster those relationships and advise them while finding their next career opportunity. Tate views every possible placement as a “fun little puzzle”. He brings 10 years of previous full-cycle recruiting experience from the healthcare field.
District Managers – Hawaii Region; Central Indiana
Linda Hutson, RN – District Manager, Hawaii Region
After Linda earned her nursing degree at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, she served as an RN at Hilo Medical Center for 10 years before starting her own medical health equipment company. Joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in January of 2011, Linda is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our employees and clients across the Hawaiian Islands. Working out of Hilo, Hawaii, Linda maintains responsibility for customer & employee relations, coordinating housing, and recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Nurses and Allied professionals for our Hawaii client base.
A lifelong resident of Hilo, Linda truly defines the “Aloha Spirit”, bringing an attitude of friendly acceptance for which the Hawaiian Islands are so famous. She is very familiar and sensitive to the various cultural and ethnic diversities in Hawaii, and strives to make our travelers experience in Hawaii both a memorable and successful one.
Amanda Chalk, LPN – District Manager, Central Indiana
Amanda continues her successful career as a staff LPN for Medical Staffing Solutions, joining the Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC corporate team in October 2011 as a District Manager for our Central Indiana region. With a proven reputation for being an outstanding caregiver, Amanda embraces the goal of providing outstanding customer service to our employees and clients throughout Central Indiana. She maintains responsibility for customer & employee relations, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring nurses, CNA’s and allied professionals for our Central Indiana client base.

Melissa Ranck – Staffing Specialist 
Melissa attended Davenport University and majored in Business Administration. She has experience as a Medical Practice Manager and as a Surgery Scheduler in a hospital setting. With her background of living in 7 different states she offers a perspective of travel adjustment and the excitement of being in a new location. Melissa has raised a family of five girls, so she understands the importance of juggling schedules and matching your schedule with your family needs. She is excited to have the opportunity to place people in PRN positions to help them reach their financial goals.

Kathryn “Kat” Hauschild – Logistics Coordinator 
A graduate of IUPUI, Kat received her degree in tourism, convention, and event management and has over 10 years of experience in customer service. Her extensive background in event management has taught her to manage client concerns with speed and professionalism. Kat will work with you on all your travel needs, such as your flights, housing, and transportation, as well as provide local information on the city you will be making your home for your assignment.
Kat loves to travel and has visited several countries overseas as well as many U.S. destinations. Since joining Medical Staffing Solutions, LLC in July of 2012, Hawaii has soared its way to the top of her long list of places she wants to visit!
Joel Montgomery – Credentialing Specialist, Travel Division 
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from the University of Southern Indiana, Joel spent the next four years working in medical and customer service fields. His professional attitude paired with a strong work ethic makes him the ideal person to assist our employees and customers in the on-boarding process.
Amy Rees – Payroll Associate
Amy joined Medical Staffing Solutions in September of 2012 as an Administrative Assistant and in February of 2013 she was promoted to the Payroll Department. Amy’s background includes going to Lincoln Land Community College majoring in Business Management, McClennan Community College for Cosmetology and she is currently a Zumba Fitness Instructor and a mother of three. Serving as the payroll associate, Amy is responsible for data entry when receiving time sheets and providing excellent customer service with any payroll questions/issues that may arise. Amy brings a strong work ethic and detail oriented approach to handling the day to day operations of the payroll department.

Taylor’s professional background includes experience in administrative support, human resources, and employee relations. She is the friendly voice that will regularly answer the phone when you call in, and is tasked with leading the day to day administrative demands of the office. She believes that providing exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business, and will happily answer any questions you may have, or assist you in directing your call to the appropriate person.
